We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our rural Ludlow-based client on a full time, temp-perm basis.

You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring excellent standards of accuracy, efficiency, and presentation to maintain customer satisfaction.

What you can expect:

• Temp to perm opportunity
• Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-2:30pm, with a 30min unpaid lunch break
• £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.71 per hour after 1^st April 2026
• Overtime hours to be paid at time and a third

What you will be doing:

• Accurately pick items from stock according to customer orders, using a manual picking lists
• Pack orders securely and efficiently, including labelling, barcoding, and preparing parcels for dispatch
• Quality checking stock before packing
• Assist with stock replenishment and organisation within the warehouse to maintain order and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of items picked, packed, and dispatched
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe, following health and safety procedures
• Support other warehouse duties as required, including assisting with stock counts

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience within a warehouse - picking/packing duties
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when picking and packing orders
• Manual handling of goods
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a warehouse
• Candidates must be able to learn and follow processes
