We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Warehouse Manager to join our clients’ operations team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of stock, procurement, and logistics across the business.

This position blends strategic oversight with hands-on coordination incorporating stock control, supplier and warehouse management, and import/export operations.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently managing priorities, driving efficiencies, and building strong relationships both internally and with suppliers.

What you can expect:

• Salary: circa £35,000, depending on experience
• Working hours: Monday - Thursday (8:30am – 5:30pm) and 5pm finish on a Friday
• Leominster location with parking

What you will be doing:

• Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular checks, investigate discrepancies, and manage stocktakes
• Raise and manage POs with precision, forecast stock needs, and ensure the best value for every order
• Optimise stock availability for fast-moving items and ensure efficient use of warehouse space
• Liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing, resolve issues, and manage returns, credits, and replacements
• Coordinate international shipments smoothly, keeping track of goods from dispatch to delivery
• Track deliveries, resolve delays or customs issues, and escalate where necessary
• Book in deliveries, check against POs, perform quality inspections, and manage returns
• Provide stock updates, manage order priorities, and liaise with sales and production teams
• Oversee warehouse/dispatch staff, including scheduling, recruitment, and training.
• Maintain a safe working environment and address risks proactively
• Manage packaging requirements, supplier relationships, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure lifting equipment is serviced, compliant, and staff are properly trained

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in stock control, procurement, or logistics operations
• Experience coordinating imports/exports and logistics, preferred
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing stock, orders, and data
• Excel experience
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in team leadership or supervision within a warehouse or operations environment, preferred
• Proactive, problem-solving approach
