We are recruiting on behalf of our rural Leominster based client who require a Vehicle Technician to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a capable, hardworking individual to join their small, focused team.

The client is willing to consider fully trained and competent candidates as well as those mechanically minded candidates with a willingness to learn who are hoping to start a career as a Vehicle Technician.

What you can expect with this role:

• Trainee Vehicle Technician is £11 per hour
• Experienced Vehicle Technician is £15 per hour
• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
• Fully training provided as required

What you will be doing:

• Servicing the vehicles
• Internal and external repairs
• PDI checks
• Interior fittings
• Accessory fittings
• Gas and electrical testing
• Damp testing
• Habitation checks
• Insurance work

What we are looking for:

• A good practical background or ability to ‘use their hands'
• Good customer co-working skills
• Good technical skills and ability to solve problems
• Previous mechanical experience on engine and mechanical components
• Experienced candidates will be expected to have a proven background as a technician
