We are working with a north Herefordshire client, seeking a Skilled Toolmaker to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. We’re looking for a dedicated professional, where you'll work with technical drawings, operate a range of machinery, and play a vital role in producing high-quality, custom components.

What you can expect:

• Pay rate: £20 - £25ph, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Overtime available during the week and on Saturdays, paid at 1.5X
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Free parking

What you will be doing:

• Interpreting technical drawings to identify component specifications and requirements
• Operating manual machinery to fabricate bespoke parts and components
• Preparing, setting up, and running machinery as required for production
• Conducting quality inspections using precision hand tools to ensure part accuracy
• Performing maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment as needed
• Machinery includes milling (XYZ machines), lathes (Colchester), and grinders (Jones Shipman)

What we are looking for:

• Previous toolmaking experience
• Quality control experience, inspection of own parts before dispatch
• Experience with manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
