We are working with a growing business based in rural Leominster for Technical Sales Executive, on a full-time permanent basis.  The role combines technical knowledge with consultative sales, supporting customers to identify the right products and systems for their projects. You will work closely with customers and suppliers, providing expert advice, developing long-term relationships and helping to deliver innovative solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges and driving business growth.

What you can expect:

• Salary: £30,000 - £32,000, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
• 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service up to an additional 5 days

What you will be doing:

• Maintain contact with new and existing customers by email, telephone and visits.
• Field customer calls, process sales orders, deal with customer enquiries or pass them to colleagues where appropriate
• Respond to email enquiries promptly, interpret drawings and sketches, size and specify systems and equipment, and make appropriate recommendations
• Meet customers in person, establish requirements and provide product and system information and demonstrations
• Keep up to date with new products, technical developments, market trends and competitor activity
• Attend and participate at internal and external trade shows and customer training events
• Respond to customer issues, fault find, troubleshoot and provide appropriate guidance
• Deal with suppliers and place purchase orders within agreed purchasing procedures and authority limits
• Maintain accurate product and technical information on the company website

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience within technical sales, consultative sales or a customer-facing technical advisory role
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical products or system solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
• Excellent customer service, with experience preparing quotations and managing customer enquiries through to completion
• Confident using CRM systems Microsoft Office packages
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience:

• Qualification within Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Technology or a related discipline
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and supporting system design or sizing
• Experience using specialist design, monitoring or technical software
