We are working with a well-established manufacturing business to find a Technical Administrator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with an awareness of production processes, good IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively between different departments.

What you can expect:

• Salary: circa £26,000 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

What you will be doing:

• Provide product specifications and machine calculations to production operators using tools such as Radan and SolidWorks
• Support production teams by resolving specification queries and technical issues
• Work closely with Production Managers and Production Planners to support product timelines and order delivery
• Assist the Quality Assurance team with root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions
• Deliver second-line technical support to customers where required
• Monitor, measure, and report technical and production performance indicators to improve efficiency and machine utilisation
• Support the development and improvement of systems and processes to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety
• Promote best practice, health & safety compliance, and safe systems of work
  

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic understanding of production processes, machinery, or technical drawings desirable
• Exposure to quality control, problem-solving, or continuous improvement activities
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn technical software such as CAD system
• Willingness to undertake further training and development in technical systems and processes
• Interest in engineering, technical support, or production improvement
