We are working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing company based on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border on a full-time permanent basis. You will be supporting business growth through technical advice, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will suit a candidate with strong technical, numerical, and communication skills and an aptitude for solving problems and supporting customers with their queries.

What You Can Expect:

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000, dependent on experience
• Full-time position, 39 hours per week

What You Will Be Doing:

• Interpret customer drawings and specifications to produce accurate technical proposals and quotations
• Responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and contractors to secure sales opportunities
• Take a proactive approach and find solutions to fulfil customer technical briefs
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and distributors
• Proactively follow up quotations
• Complete own order processing administration with the support of a sales administrator
• Produce reports as required to support commercial activity
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams
• Occasional travel for customer site visits, technical meetings, and exhibitions to promote products and services
