A busy, thriving manufacturing company in South Shropshire is looking for a Sewing Machinist is encouraged to apply for its ever-increasing product range for its fabulous client base. This role requires an enthusiasm for sewing machinery work with two years or more years’ experience preferred.

What you can expect:

• Pay rate: £13 per hour, to start
• Availability to work a dayshift – Monday to Friday, during the hours of 8:30am to 5pm are a standard working day – no weekend work. (If you prefer a different shift pattern then we can consider this, too).

What you will be doing:

• Operating electronic embroidery machines
• Quality control and ensuring all products conform to standards
• Oversee efficiency and standards to a wide range of goods and companies
• The requirement to be dextrous for sewing items such as neck labels
• Maintenance and cleaning of machinery

What we are looking for:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment - ideally
• Prior experience on sewing machinery perhaps industrial sewing machinery would be preferred, but not essential
• Dexterity
