We are looking for a commercially astute Sales Director to lead the sales function of our rural Worcestershire client, a leading business within the horticultural sector. This is a key leadership role focused on guiding and supporting a capable team, with a focus on building on existing and new trusted relationships, nurturing skills, and aligning the sales function with the company's values and long-term goals.

What you will be doing:

• Shape and implement the sales strategy in line with company objectives
• Support and empower the sales team through collaborative leadership and mentoring
• Expand and manage meaningful client partnerships
• Identify market trends, competitor insights, and data-driven opportunities for growth
• Work closely with other departments to create a joined-up approach to growth and customer satisfaction

What we are looking for:

• Experienced in leading and mentoring sales teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A strategic thinker who values integrity and long-term success
• Commercially aware, with the ability to balance numbers with people-focused leadership
• Ideally, experience in a product-based or B2B environment – horticultural knowledge is a plus, but not essential
