We are working with a south Hereford based manufacturer to recruit a Quality & HSE Lead on a full-time permanent basis. This role will focus on driving operational excellence through structured process improvement, quality assurance and Health and safety. The successful individual will work closely with production and operational teams drive improvement across the site and its manufacturing processes.

What you can expect:

• Salary: up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, Office hours (37.5 hours per week)
• 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing by length of service
• Permanent 

What you will be doing:

• Work with the manufacturing team to promote and display a positive culture of Quality and HSE across the business
• Conduct daily communications with the manufacturing team providing a data analysis of compliance
• Maintain quality and safety systems, verification of product compliance to relevant Internal and external standards
• Delivering training and coaching to embed process compliance and improvement capability within teams
• Assist the business to continuously improve its manufacturing standards and compliance
• Conduct regular compliance reviews of standards, policies, and procedures and critique manufacturing data to ensure product compliance
• Provide management with statistical data reports
• Manage the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring smooth transition from design to production

What we are looking for:

• Understanding of ISO and BSI quality systems and manufacturing compliance
• Prior SHEQ experience within a fast-paced manufacturing facility with specific focus on quality management
• IOSH or NEBOSH would be an advantage
• Ability to analyse data and implement change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation
• Knowledge of lean six sigma and experience of 5s
• Proficient in Microsoft office
