We are recruiting on behalf of our rural client based on the border of Powys for a Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team on a full time, temp to perm basis.

This role offers an organised, personable, and data driven candidate the opportunity to work across purchasing, stock, and supplier relations, with the successful candidate being responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers.

What you can expect:

• Starting salary: £27,200
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (30minute lunch break)
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Weekly pay
• This is a temporary to permanent position, worked via Recruitment Direct Leominster

What you will be doing:

• Raise and manage purchase orders across all departments using Sage
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals and maintain preferred supplier lists
• Manage supplier relationships, including vetting, order tracking, and resolving queries
• Reconcile supplier statements, verify bank details, and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Oversee PPE procurement, allocation, and stock control
• Process goods received in Sage, manage store rooms, and maintain agreed stock levels
• Conduct monthly stock checks, maintain accurate records, and control equipment movement
• Process supplier invoices, prepare BACS payments, and ensure accurate CRM and Sage records
• Support financial reconciliations, including Barclaycard and deposit entries
