Our Tenbury based client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a fulltime, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the confidence to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.

• Salary – Negotiable dependant on experience
• Workings hours: Full time/ Office hours with some flexibility on start and finish times
• Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

What you will be doing:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices utilising electronic accounting software
• Liaise with suppliers and internal department heads to address queries regarding invoices in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, reconcile supplier statements
• Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as required

What we are looking for:

• Accounts payable/purchase ledger experience essential
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with electronic accounting software and proficiency in MS Office/Excel
• Strong communication skills
