We are recruiting for Production Operatives to join our Leominster based client on a full time, temp to perm basis. The main responsibility is to operate production lines to achieve production output levels at target efficiency without compromising safety, environmental and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior production experience working across 12 hours continental shifts. Experienced candidates seeking a different shift pattern are encouraged to apply, likewise, candidates seeking an opportunity within a production environment are encouraged to apply.

What you can expect:

• Pay: £14ph increasing to £15.50 per hour
• 12 hours shifts, day and night rota (2day, 2nights, 4 off), Monday to Sunday
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Upon successful completion of the temp to perm, you will receive a pay increase to £15.50 an hour plus increased holiday leave and company benefits

What you will be doing:

• Ensure raw materials and packaging are supplied to production on request.
• Ensure all finished goods are wrapped, labelled, presented, and handled to an excellent standard at all times, to minimise damage when being transported
• Ensuring all quality checks and testing are carried out in line with product specifications and procedures.
• Ensure the weight of finished goods are accurately recorded

What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills
• An ability to work well within a team environment.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or work in a similar role within a manufacturing, production environment is valued
• Good technical ability
