We are currently seeking a People Administrator to join our client in Hereford. This is a temporary position, offering part time working hours and an opportunity to support across a HR and recruitment function within a busy, office-based environment.

What you can expect:

• Salary: £12.78 per hour
• Hours: 25 hours per week, 9:30am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Temporary
• IMMEDIATE START
• Monday 14^th September until approx. 9^th October
• Other part time working hours availability will be considered

What you will be doing:

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and contractual changes
• Coordinate probation reviews, performance appraisals, training records and other key HR processes
• Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, reports and policy updates, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers to meet recruitment requirements
• Draft and advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews and maintain effective candidate communication throughout the process
• Complete pre-employment checks and coordinate onboarding in line standards
• Maintain accurate recruitment data, HRIS records and recruitment metrics, producing reports and dashboards as required.
• Act as a first point of contact for general HR queries
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline HR and recruitment processes
• Support data audits, compliance checks and KPI monitoring
  

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in HR, recruitment or people administration, with a good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, managers and candidates
• Maintaining confidential records and producing accurate reports and data
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and identify process improvement
