We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding company on a Full time, permanent basis on Herefordshire/Powys border. This role will be a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production and site equipment. You will deliver both planned preventative maintenance and rapid response breakdown support, contributing to operational uptime, safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

• 12-hour rotating shifts (06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00, 2-block system

What you will be doing:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a wide range of production equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults effectively
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reliability
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise output
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
• Ensuring full compliance with site safety procedures and engineering standards

What we are looking for:

• Time Served Engineer with a minimum Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline
• Multi-skilled with experience in both mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive maintenance mindset
• Ability to fault find and interrogate PLCs (advantageous)
