We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in Bromborough on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating specialist machinery to produce high-quality product to customer specifications, whilst maintaining high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping and continuous improvement.

• Salary £32760.00 per annum, with opportunity to process and increase salary grade
• Shift-based working – four on four off 2 days/2 nights

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating machinery to manufacture high-quality products to customer specifications
• Ensure machines operate with minimal scrap and downtime
• Ensure customer orders are set up correctly and to specification
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and follow company Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Identify and report machine defects and problems to the appropriate management or engineering team
• Complete production and job documentation as required
• Ensure raw materials and dosing systems are correctly maintained where applicable
• Work with the Team Leader to plan and carry out machine changeovers effectively
• Contribute to improvements in Health & Safety systems and practices using the required PPE
• Support the Technical Team with plant and product trials

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience operating machines within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills, including basic Excel and relevant manufacturing systems
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and ISO management systems
