We are recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join our Ludlow-based client on a full time, temporary basis with the potential for a permanent position.

You will be responsible for organising and quality checking incoming stock, whilst keeping the warehouse running smoothly, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting the team with general tasks in a safe and fast-paced environment.

What you can expect:

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm with a 30min unpaid lunch break
• £12.50 per hour increasing to £13.50 per hour after 1^st April 2026
• Regular overtime will be available at 1.5x basic
• Temporary to permanent basis

What you will be doing:

• Handling manual tasks and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment
• Receiving, quality checking and organising incoming goods efficiently
• Checking, counting, and labelling stock accurately, then placing it in the correct warehouse location
• Conducting stock checks and keeping inventory records up to date on the internal ERP system
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely
• Helping maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Following all health and safety guidelines
• Taking on additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a warehouse would be beneficial
• High attention to detail
• Candidates must be able to learn and follow processes
• Computer literate, ERP experience would be desirable
• Required to keep their immediate work environment clean and tidy
• Candidates must be able to be flexible so they can work in a team environment but also take ownership of individual tasks
