FLT Driver

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious FLT Driver to join our local Leominster based client on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves unloading deliveries, supplying industrial materials to production lines, operating forklifts and gantry cranes safely, and maintaining high standards of yard and factory housekeeping.

What You Can Expect

•        Full-time, Permanent working 13:45 – 23:45 Monday to Thursday

•        Competitive starting pay: £13.75 per hour plus £0.50 per hour shift allowance for late/rotating shifts

•        Holiday entitlement: 23 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rata for mid-year starters)

•        Training provided for gantry crane operation and 7T forklift

What You Will Be Doing

•        Unloading and checking deliveries of industrial materials

•        Supplying Industrial materials to production lines

•        Operating counterbalance forklift and gantry crane safely

•        Stacking and storing materials in designated areas to maintain safety and organisation

•        Loading vehicles and machinery according to instructions

•        Picking orders and processing goods in and out

•        Completing accurate paperwork for delivery notes and stock control

•        Communicating effectively with colleagues and delivery drivers

•        Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across the yard and factory

•        Supporting additional factory duties, including machine operation, as required

What We Are Looking For

•        High standards of health and safety awareness

•        Current counterbalance forklift license (7T FLT and gantry crane training provided)

•        Basic numeracy and literacy skills

•        Good verbal and written communication skills

•        Professional attitude and enthusiasm for the role

•        Smart, presentable, and able to build rapport with colleagues
