We are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join our client on a full time, permanent basis. As part of a small finance team supporting the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial duties, ensuring robust administration and accurate monthly reporting.

An ideal role for someone looking to build on practical finance experience, with an AAT qualification considered an advantage.

Interviews expected to take place in early-mid January 2026.

What you will be doing:

• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Raise funding requests, inter-company recharges, and prepayments
• Posting journals
• Utilising XLedger software and Bright Pay
• Manage weekly supplier payment runs
• Maintain nominal, sales and purchase ledgers
• Credit control
• Monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts
• Receive cash/cheque/BACS payments, accurately allocating cash to ledgers
• Administer monthly payroll and pension processes
• Other duties as required by the business

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a finance role
• Finance software experience essential, Xledger highly advantageous
• AAT qualified (or working towards) preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Preferably experience working within the Charity Sector
• Full valid driving licence
