We're looking for an organised and proactive Facilities Manager to join a local Leominster business. You'll make sure the premises, equipment and day-to-day services are safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose. That means coordinating maintenance, managing contractors and suppliers, and looking after stock and equipment.

What you can expect:

• Salary: £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
• 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Thursday (8am – 4pm) & Friday (10:30am - 6:30pm)
• Leominster
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check
• Enhanced pension contributions

What you will be doing:

• Coordinating maintenance, repairs and statutory compliance checks across the premises
• Managing landlords, contractors and suppliers, including cleaning and waste-disposal providers
• Supporting health and safety, fire safety, infection prevention and business-continuity arrangements
• Providing non-clinical support for clinics, including vaccine stock and cold-chain monitoring
• Managing stock, equipment and procurement, and contributing to the facilities budget
• Coordinating support staff and keeping accurate facilities and compliance records
• Identifying practical improvements to the premises, systems and patient experience

What we are looking for:

• Experience in facilities, estates, health and safety or operational management (essential)
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and maintenance (essential)
• Experience of stock, procurement and equipment management, with accurate record keeping (essential)
• A practical understanding of health and safety, risk management, cleaning standards and business continuity (essential)
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure (essential)
• A reliable, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to patient safety (essential)
• A relevant qualification in facilities, estates, health and safety or fire safety (advantageous)
• Experience in NHS or another healthcare setting (advantageous)
