We are working with a Herefordshire client seeking a Facilities, Health & Safety Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be experienced, pragmatic and commercially astute working closely with teams across the business to establish robust systems, maintain regulatory standards and support the organisation as it continues to grow.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take overall responsibility for Facilities, Health & Safety, compliance and operational risk across s multisite organsation
• Develop and maintain appropriate H&S, facilities and compliance systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure the business meets relevant UK legislation, regulatory requirements and customer standards
• Lead the management of contractors, suppliers, service providers, landlords and external stakeholders
• Oversee site maintenance, facilities, statutory inspections, emergency planning and security arrangements
• Identify and manage operational risks, incidents and corrective actions
• Manage facilities budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees, challenging where necessary to maintain standards
• Support audits, inspections and compliance requirements associated with operating within a highly regulated environment
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement and compliance across the organisation

What We Are Looking For

• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification
• 5+ years' experience in a senior H&S, Facilities or combined H&S/Facilities role
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, defence, aerospace or another highly regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk management and compliance
• Proven experience managing contractors, suppliers, budgets and external stakeholders
• Confident advising and influencing senior management
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• DSEAR experience or qualification would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligible to obtain the required UK Security Clearance
