We are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join our rural west Leominster client on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident customer focused candidate with existing IT skills, to join a fast-paced, hardworking team within the manufacturing industry.

Acting as the voice of the customer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships by monitoring order process, responding to queries, and providing clear information to customers.

What you can expect:

• Salary: up to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday (8am – 5pm) and Friday (8am – 2:30pm), with a 30minute unpaid lunch
• Full time, permanent or temp to perm position (40hours per week)
• Immediate start available, although candidates with a notice period are encouraged to apply
• Inhouse training and the encouragement to progress within the team

What you will be doing:

• Follow workflow of an order and knowing the relevant colleague to ask regarding status
• Provide customer updates on order status
• Understanding the process of fulfilling an order
• Ensure customer orders contain relevant information
• Maintain pricing information on the IT system for customers
• Understand the order book and production scheduling systems
• Ensure data is consistent across IT systems
• Maintain sufficient knowledge and skill to support the team
• Daily order book review
• Update and check daily reports
• Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner

The ideal candidate will need to be highly organised to deliver against deadlines, be proactive and work to find good practical solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Experience of IT systems in the workplace
• SAP experience (desirable)
• Previous experience in manufacturing would be advantageous
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good commercial awareness
• Confident telephone manner
