As Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll lead the development and implementation of CI plans through the North Herefordshire manufacturing site. You’ll be accountable for driving performance improvements, reducing losses and building total colleague engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach and support line teams, lead loss elimination initiatives and embed best practices to achieve Company goals.

What will you be doing:

• Lead the site’s continuous improvement plans, ensuring development aligns with site targets
• Daily coaching and support of line leads to prioritise work, resolve issues, and achieve targets
• Develop and maintain the Site Master Plan and 90-Day Plans, identifying key losses and capability gaps
• Drive improvements in OEE, downtime, and production schedule adherence using continuous
•  improvement tools and methodologies
• Develop colleague engagement through on-the-floor coaching and root cause analysis, ensuring timely and sustainable issue resolution
• Support the company values, aligning activities with glidepath goals
• Oversee certification and next-phase accreditation

What we are looking for:

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, with knowledge of production, quality, and performance metrics
• Skilled in lean systems and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt essential; Black Belt advantageous)
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, able to motivate and influence teams at all levels
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, familiar with tools like fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, and RCA
• Experience managing budgets, cost centres, and capital expenditure
