We are recruiting for Assembly Technicians on a full time, temporary basis in rural north Herefordshire to support an exciting prototype build project. This is a hands-on role working alongside engineers to assemble, test, and refine builds.

This is not repetitive production work — you’ll be building precision assemblies that move quickly from concept to working hardware.

What you can expect:

• Hourly rate: up to £13.82 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with a paid lunch break
• Immediate start with structured onboarding
• Temporary basis, however successful candidates may be considered for future permanent opportunities

What you will be doing:

• Assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components in line with technical drawings and specifications
• Using hand and power tools to build, adjust and refine hardware with precision
• Supporting PCB assembly activities including basic soldering, wiring, testing or rework
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet required standards
• Troubleshooting build issues in collaboration with engineers
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area

What we are looking for:

• Experience within a workshop, laboratory or manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Reliable, proactive team player with the ability to work independently when required
• Previous experience within mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and build documentation, preferred
• Familiarity with electronics and PCB assembly, preferred
