Assembly Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on and detail-focused individual to join a small and dedicated team of Assembly Technicians, based in south Hereford. This role will be reporting to the lead engineer and will involve hands on Mechanical Assembly to a high standard, supporting the company’s growth.

What you can expect

• Permanent Full-time, Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm / 7:00 am – 4:00pm
• Salary £29’500 per annum

What you will be doing

• Assemble a range of equipment with precision
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with standards
• Calibrating and adjusting components to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organised tools and equipment work, following health and safety protocols
• Assist with stock control and report low stock or damaged components
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
• Record production data for quality control and traceability
• Participate in ongoing training and upskilling

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly role preferred, using an array of hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical drawings
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
