We are recruiting for experienced Assembly Technicians on a full time, permanent basis in Herefordshire to support prototyping and testing activities within our client’s cutting-edge technology projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing high-precision components and systems. You will be building precision assemblies that move quickly from concept to working hardware.

What you will be doing:

• Assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components in line with technical drawings and specifications
• Using hand and power tools to build, adjust and refine hardware with precision
• Supporting electrical and PCB assembly activities including soldering, wiring and testing
• Working with precision and quality standards
• Troubleshooting build issues in collaboration with design engineers
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area

What we are looking for:

• Excellent manual dexterity with a keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Previous experience within mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly within a workshop, laboratory or assembly manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with electronics and PCB assembly (desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and build documentation
• A genuine interest in engineering, technology and precision manufacturing
• Engineering graduates or candidates with demonstrable practical hands-on skills gained through work, study or personal interests electronics projects, robotics, mechanical engineering
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
• Reliable, proactive team player with the ability to work independently when required
