We are recruiting for a General Operative/Welder on behalf of a growing, Leominster-based company on a full-time, temporary basis. You will ideally have good working knowledge of welding and operating electrical equipment and manual tools.

Possibility of progression and a permanent placement for the right candidate.

The Role

• Accurately fit and align all parts to correct specifications, referencing schematic diagrams
• Ensure dimensions are correct and all necessary parts are present
• Mark cutting lines on material
• Record and report any errors or malfunctions of product
• Quality check finished products
• Work with the team to effectively maintain a production schedule
• Adhere to assembly safety standards

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience operating welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
• Previous experience within a similar role preferable
• Dextrous, well organised and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to complete physical tasks
• Ability to communicate and follow directions and Health & Safety procedures as required
• Overhead crane or FLT licence beneficial but not required
