A leading drinks manufacturer, operating from a rural site with state-of-the-art production facility is seeking a Stock Coordinator to support the wider stock and warehouse team, by taking responsibility for the control of ingredients, storage and release.

• 6am–4pm on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (Monday – Sunday)
• Pay rate: £13.76 per hour
• Full time via a 12-week temp to perm process through Recruitment Direct Leominster
• Site-based position on the Herefordshire/Powys border

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for storage of ingredients and ensure that accurate stock rotation is effectively managed
• Support the ‘Goods In’ department to process incoming ingredients
• Conduct daily temperature checks and ensure that the chiller is stocked up on a weekly basis
• Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate records, manage wastage and to make relevant adjustments as required
• Work closely with other teams to control stock levels and usage
• Preparation for the annual audit and play a key role in the execution of this event
• Investigate any issues raised and report findings to the Process Manager
• Raise exception requests with the Quality & Technical department and handle ingredient extensions accurately to protect product safety and integrity
• Operate a ‘clean as you go’ policy and ensure that high standards of hygiene are always maintained
• Conduct planned deep cleans of the storage areas and ensure ingredients easy to access
• Provide support to the Process team and cover absences as and when required
• Carry out any other duties or tasks reasonably requested by a manager

What we are looking for:

• Prior experience in stock control or procurement
• Food/drink manufacturing experience preferred
• Food Safety level 2 preferred, can be trained
• FLT Licence/experience preferred, can be trained
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• A good standard of English and Maths
• Strong IT skills and data entry experience
