We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our client on full time, fixed term contract basis for approx. 11 months. The contract may be extended with the possibility of a permanent role with our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for running their beautiful portfolio of 7 holiday let properties set in the idyllic Herefordshire countryside.

What you can expect:

• Full time, fixed term basis
• Start date of early/mid-June 2022 with an expected end date of April/May 2023 (with the potential for future opportunities)
• Salary: up to £30,000, DOE
• Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day with flexible start/finish times to be discussed on application
• Occasional on call weekends for guest support with an on-call allowance 
• Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays

What you will be doing:

• Managing all enquiries and booking administration
• Receiving, maintaining, and updating accurate records of bookings
• Providing all pre-arrival information to guests regarding their stay
• Managing and ensuring all legislation is kept up to date (including fire regs and health & safety)
• First point of contact for all guests, including check in and available for troubleshooting (on call on weekends/evenings)
• Reading and reviewing guest feedback 
• Keeping availability websites up to date
• Communications and updating all website portals
• Dealing with commission-based agents
• Responsible for marketing and social media, and communication with website portals
• Stock control, management, and ordering 
• Managing housekeepers and caterers in line with bookings, to include appraisals and HR processes 
• Liaising with professional trades, e.g., Builders/Electricians/Plumbers
• Supervising and helping housekeepers when required

What we are looking for:

• Demonstrable suitable and relevant hospitality experience
• Business awareness for cost control and budgeting 
• Able to act on initiative to ensure problems are dealt with in a timely manner and effectively
