Our Tenbury based client has secured an exciting new contract and is recruiting for production operatives to assist them in fulfilling orders for several years to come.

The successful candidates will be reliable, have good communication skills and take pride in their work.  Previous experience in production is not essential as full training will be given.

A temporary contract initially, with a view to a permanent contract after 12 weeks being offered to suitable candidates.

You will need a good eye for detail and the ability to concentrate for long periods of time without losing focus on the job in hand.  

Weekly inductions are held, with an immediate start if both parties are happy to continue.

Pay Rate:
of £10.07 per hour to start, rising to £11.07 per hour

‍Shift Pattern:‍

• 2 Days 7am - 7pm
• 2 Nights 7pm - 7am

• 1 x 30 minute and 2 x 20 minute breaks per shift (all paid)
• 4 days off, then repeat

Successful candidates will be required to work shift patterns covering both days and nights, including weekends.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure the successful running of the production line in order to meet daily plan
• Operating equipment efficiently, working productively with a strong awareness to preventing accidents and near misses in line with the Company standards
• Perform regular and thorough cleaning of equipment maintaining the highest of standards
• Work closely with engineering department to minimize machine downtime in order to meet the production plan
• Ensuring compliance documentation is completed accurately and correctly
• Completing change of shift handovers to a good quality, communicating effectively with other team members
• Seek ways to continually improve duties that require to be carried out to make safer, cleaner and more cost-effective ways of working
