We are working with a respected and large manufacturing company in north Leominster for Machine Operatives

As a Machine operative the main purpose of your role will involve performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines and equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards.

Main Duties and responsibilities

• Awareness of company management systems including safety, processes and culture
• Effective application of quality requirements to produce a superior product to specifications
• Machine operation, inspection, trouble shooting and precision measuring, recording results, monitoring of output
• Working to targets and Key performance indicators
• Effective communication within a team environment, team meetings, shift briefings and one to one feedback
• Training and personal development to ensure performance is achieved
• Varying other reasonable duties

Requirements

• Flexibility to train on multiple areas of the factory
• Experience with working with computers and Microsoft packages would be desirable
• Can do attitude
• Previous manufacturing experience

Hours of work - three shift pattern

Monday – Thursday 7am – 3pm & Friday 7am – 2pm)

Monday – Thursday 3pm – 11pm & Friday 2pm – 9pm)

Monday – Thursday 11pm – 7am & Sunday Midnight – 7am Monday

Salary

Additional shift allowance will be paid giving a equivalent salary of £29'534 for a three shift pattern.
